Mahara, or ‘Skill’, if translated from Arabic to English, is a digital learning platform enabling youths and entrepreneurs of South Sudan to access skills and knowledge. Developed by BizEx Ltd in collaboration with ekShop, the team of national aggregated e-commerce platform of the Bangladesh government's Aspire to Innovate (a2i) Programme. The platform is supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) South Sudan, the African Development Bank, the Government of South Sudan, the Kingdoms of the Netherlands, and the Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) program.
